Zgarieturi usoare, nimic important. Dar a incercat sa transforme totul in neacordare de prioritate, ca ne-am lovit in curba, eu taindu-i calea.
In schimb…

EXACT!

When I jumped with Felix!!

Yes, true!! I watched his free falling and I lived every second!

Felix Baumgartner

Here are some words about this man and his record:

Baumgartner was born on 20 April 1969 in Salzburg, Austria.

In 1999 he claimed the world record for the highest parachute jump from a building when he jumped from the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On 31 July 2003, Baumgartner became the first person to skydive across the English Channel using a specially made carbon fiber wing. He also set the world record for the lowest BASE jump ever, when he jumped 95 feet (29 m) from the hand of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.

He became the first person to BASE jump from the completed Millau Viaduct in France on 27 June 2004[citation needed] and the first person to skydive onto, then BASE jump from, the Turning Torso building in Malmö, Sweden on 18 August 2006. On 12 December 2007 he became the first person to jump from the 91st floor observation deck, then went to the 90th floor (about 390 m (1,280 ft)) of the then tallest completed building in the world, Taipei 101, Taipei, Taiwan.

In January 2010, it was reported that Baumgartner was working with a team of scientists and sponsor Red Bull to attempt the highest sky-dive on record. Baumgartner initially struggled with claustrophobia after spending time in the pressurized suit required for the jump, but overcame it with help from a sports psychologist and other specialists.

Test jumps

On 15 March 2012 Baumgartner completed the first of two test jumps from 71,581 feet (21,818 m). During the jump he spent approximately three minutes and 43 seconds in free fall, reaching speeds of more than 360 miles per hour (580 km/h), before opening his parachute. In total, the jump lasted approximately eight minutes and eight seconds and Baumgartner became only the third person to safely parachute from a height of over 13.5 miles (21.7 km).

On 25 July 2012, Baumgartner completed the second of two planned test jumps from 96,640 feet (29,460 m). It took Baumgartner about 90 minutes to reach the target altitude and his free fall was estimated to have lasted three minutes and 48 seconds before his parachutes were deployed.

Main jump

The launch was originally scheduled for 9 October 2012, but was aborted due to adverse weather conditions. Launch was rescheduled and the mission instead took place on 14 October 2012 when Baumgartner landed in eastern New Mexico after jumping from a world record 39,045 metres (128,100 ft) or just over 39 kilometres (24 mi). On the basis of provisional data, Baumgartner also set the record for the highest manned balloon flight (at the same height) and fastest speed of free fall at 1,342 kilometres per hour (834 mph) making him the first human to break the sound barrier outside of a vehicle.[14][15] Baumgartner was in free fall for 4 minutes and 19 seconds, 17 seconds shy of mentor Joseph Kittinger’s 1960 jump.

Playing Sport and Doing Business are running together

Is there any connection between sport and business? Yes, there is one! And it’s confirmed also by studies.
SPORT MAKES YOU SMARTER AND TOUGHER !

Exercises put your brain to learning! But most of all, sport is testing your capabillity of reaching your limits or even to overpass them. Once you learn how to be better in sports, you get the best advantage in assuming risks in business.
Sport is learnig you one big secret: you will succeed only if you try!
Another big lesson you discover by exercises is that you will learn by walking!

And everybody has a favourite sport, just practice it!

It is amazing how your body reacts to exercises and you actually go better and better everytime you push and push for more and more. Today maybe you die after 5 minutes of running with 8 km/h on the trademill. Do it everyday and set your 5 minutes with same speed, no matter. And you ‘ll be surprised of the results.
The only thing you have to fight with is GIVING UP! Just keep doing it!

I know 7 advantages you get when playing sport!

1. Health Benefits!

Yes, you will see and feel better, no doubt! Your heart and lungs will get stronger, your blood and the oxygen will fill your body with adrenaline, your muscles are trained, your fat melts away, your skin is clean because you get your toxin out by perspiration.

2. Stress out!

Stress is not good! It kills body and mind! And your life starts to suffer immediately! By sport, your body release the endorphine (the hormone that makes us feel really good) into the blood. The good mood is installing in your body and your mind and stress is removed! More than that, you get this feeling all day long!

3. Get creative!

Imagine that your mind is never more creative than now! Your good mood is exploding and you feel like you can do lots of things and ideas are popping out like popcorns!

4. Positive attitude!

Now you are feeling good and everybody can see this! Imagine that everybody would like to have a friend like you! So, if you feel like socializing , this is good!

And BE SMART! Play sport by learning everything about what is good for reaching your goal. Be carefull what and when you eat and drink. Set a calendar and a program, rest yourself and … FOCUS on each exercise!

And … PLAY SOME MUSIC! Sport is good with it! Now it is the time to listen your best songs! And you can even create some playlists especially for the exercises you do. Same time, you can use any gadget if you need, like iPads! I know people using to go to spinning and watching movies or reading news while exercising. But not recommended when you really want to get performance! You need focus!

Don’t forget that FASHION is … damn good, too, when you go to gym or your favourite sport! Go check best clothes for you and see that you assort details, ok? :) For example, I adore T-shirts with messages when I go to my club!

I am ALIVE !

Off-Road Adventure in Bacau, near Racaciuni, on a God-knows-where track, on May 16th, 2010.
My car was about to roll down a hill while trying to drive it up on a very muddy off-road. Lucky me, there was a tree that hanged my car into it and didn’t leave it to fall into a deep valley.
We were 4 in the car, 2 were happy with the adventure but still not intending to do it again ! :)

This is the day I have tested my luck and it was there!

Go Pro! Be a Hero!

Eeeeee-e-e-e-e-nergy Boooo-o-o-o-o-o-o-st !!!

Camera for sports ! Exactly what I am now looking for!
I love this gadget ! Go Pro HD! I take 2!
And I love what these guys are doing here!

Crash Test Range Rover

This is the reason I have chosen this car:

NCAP result for Land Rover Range Rover : 4 starts !

If you want to be safe in your car, do not buy Hummer H3 for example, which is the poorest.
The best in safety is Nissan Murano , but nobody likes that car .

I GO WILD THIS YEAR !!!

“And if you wanna just take control,
we can let it go ! ” :D

Crazy Winter Off-Track 4×4 Experience !! Hell, YES !

Yes, crazy enough to take a route to Belgrade that was not on GPS map and not even indicated as regular way to Belgrade! Just a feeling :) )
But we said: Adventure? Hell , Yes!
And it was just 6:30 in the morning, too dark to see around …

Enjoy the pics of a crazy experience we had in Serbia during January 27-28, 2010.
And: this was the TEST for my 4×4! It passed! :)
Actually the whole story , from Bucharest to destination and back.
Bucharest – Pitesti – Craiova – Drobeta Turnu Severin – Gura Vaii – some cities in Serbia (could not remember names) – Belgrade – Naidas – along Danube to Orsova – Drobeta Turnu Severin – … back ! Just 1.500 km in 2 days, with some heavy snow falls .

Later Edit: I ‘ve just found out that Allianz insurance doesn’t cover damages in Serbia…!!! :) ) Well, lucky us we didn’t need it! :) )

Uuups, I did it again! This time: Poiana Brasov (Postavarul)

Difficult to ski in Poiana Brasov, down on Postavarul. It is not like Austrian or Swiss slopes, this one is difficult because of poor investment in quality.
But I shall not rest in peace till I get a downhill in 10 minutes! Which is a BIG TARGET! :)

I am working on it, so yesterday… I DID IT AGAIN !!

Click the pictures to see more, or click HERE to Gallery.

Interesting also the adventure of driving to Poiana Brasov…

@ SKI = This is My Church!

Hell, Yeah! First Ski in 2010 ! Sinaia, Valea Dorului, January 15!
